The Arts Council of Wales will be holding a series of meetings across Wales this week to discuss how Dance in Wales can be improved over the next five years. In accordance with the Arts Council of Wales’ Five Year Strategy, ACW has arranged a series of seminars in relation to Dance in Wales. The seminars will be an opportunity to talk about ACW’s discussion document for the development of Dance in Wales and will build upon the work and findings of previous reviews within the Dance sector. At the seminar, you will have the opportunity to voice your opinions, ideas or concerns. Feedback from the seminar will be published on ACW’s website and will be used to inform the Arts Council’s Five Year Development Strategy. The Seminars will be held on the following dates: North Wales, Wed 8 May 2002 - ACW Office, Colwyn Bay, from 11.00am – 1.00pm Please contact ACW Colwyn Bay office to register attendance. West Wales, Wed 15 May 2002 - Halliwell Centre, Carmarthen, from 11.00am – 1.00pm Please contact ACW Carmarthen office to register attendance. South Wales, Fri 17 May 2002 - Meeting Room one, Chapter Arts Centre, from 1.00pm – 4.00pm Contact Welsh Independent Dance on 029 20387314 to register attendence. ACW is also looking to recruit members to its National List of Advisers who have expertise in Dance.
