You may know that Volcano Theatre Company is involved in a joint bid (with the Swansea Arts Forum) to secure funding for a multi-purpose Arts Facility in Kings Lane, Swansea. The proposed facility is an exciting combination of renovation and new build, and would provide a large and well-equipped rehearsal space, over twenty low-cost artists' studios, a workshop and a multi-purpose public space for exhibitions, gatherings etc. It would also have office and storage space for Volcano. The building will be fully accessible. The rehearsal space will have a sprung floor and will be equipped with dressing rooms and showers, and will be offered at competitive rates to local groups. If you think that such a facility might be of interest to you, or if you simply consider that it will provide a much-needed facility for local artists which will contribute to the regeneration of the area, and would like to help us make it happen, we would greatly appreciate receiving a letter of support from you.
