WRITER Geraint Lewis admits he was quietly pleased when he read about the Welsh language battle which is to take centre stage at the National Eisteddfod. This is because the main character in his play, Dosbarth, which has been commissioned for this year's festival, has aspirations to be on a number of quangos, including the Welsh Language Board. In real life, the board is due to be pitted against two pressure groups on the maes, in a contest which will help decide the language's political future.
