“It’ll All Be Over By Christmas…”

One of Theatr na n'Óg’s most popular and successful productions makes a welcome return to the stage this Autumn.

It’ll All Be Over By Christmas… tells the endearing yet funny tale of Rosie Birch, a young girl evacuated to Swansea at the outbreak of the Second World War.

We follow Rosie growing up during Wartime Wales, as she experiences the blackouts, the rationing and the bombing.

It’ll All Be Over By Christmas… is a years 5 and 6 Theatre in Education project produced for the schools of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea and Bridgend. The production can be seen in both Welsh and English at the Dylan Thomas Theatre, Swansea between September 10th and December 13th 2002.

Working in partnership with 4-Site, Theatr na n'Óg offers a full day’s project, including the production, a Question and Answer session with the Actors and activities at Swansea Maritime and Industrial Museum and Swansea Museum. Theatr na n'Óg also provides a Teacher and Pupil Resource Pack to each class that takes part in the project.
