Grant Schemes from Cywaith Cymru.Artworks Wales Classification - Funding Cywaith Cymru.Artworks Wales, the National organisation for public arts in Wales, are inviting submissions for their grant schemes which are offered in addition to their residency programme. The deadline for the next round of these two schemes is 31/03/03 *Good Ideas Grants of up to 5,000 for artist-led innovative projects which involve the community. Eligible projects will benefit artists' development and extend the notion of 'residencies'. *Artists-at-Work Grants of up to 5,000 for artists working with a business or work-place. Projects should benefit artists' development and offer a valuable experience to the business and its workforce. Grants are available for up to 90% of the costs of projects. The conference will include sessions addressing programming, artist involvement, and the role of the educator. There will also be opportunities for speaker and audience discussions. The main conference will be held at Baltic in Gateshead, with opportunities to visit a number of other galleries in the area. Speakers/workshop leaders include representatives from international galleries and museums. The main conference is on 28 & 29/11/02 but there are optional meals, masterclasses and visits also available. The cost of the two day conference is 150.
