| artistic policy | The Glamorgan Drama League is an umbrella organisation for community theatre groups in South Wales. We organise two regular Festivals each year: The Berwyn Festival of One Act-Plays and The Glammies, a peripatetic festival. In 2004 we host the Wales Final and we hope to develop a new full-length festival in the near future. ne of the important roles of the GDL is networking between groups, who without their contact with the GDL would hardly know that other groups exist. We also organise occasional training courses. The GDL is run by a Delegates Committee. Meetings are generally held in Pontyclun. Currently there are over thirty groups affiliated to the GDL. |
