Past Productions:

December 2005: WHOA (Morlan Hall) in association with "What Was That? Productions". The show was hosted by Mike "The Baron" Dickinson and Al Mehdizadeh and featured performances by society members performing hits by Mariah Carey, The Calling, Muse, Whitney Houston and Robbie Williams to name but a few.

February 2006: Curtain Call Gala 2006 (Morlan Hall) A spectacular gala featuring songs from shows such as Les Mis, Rent, Chicago, Blood Brothers, Phantom of the Opera and many more. This show had a cast of around 35 members and was seen by over 350 people.

May 2006: Godspell 2006 (Morlan Hall) Godspell was presented to over 450 people during the 2 days in which it was on. After several issues with venue the final performance was a success. Visit the website for more info and pics

In Production:

October 2006: WHOA II: Dance the Line. This will be coming to Morlan Hall in October 2006 and will again be hosted by Al Mehdizdeh and Mike Dickinson. We are currently looking for acts to fill up the bill. We are looking for male and female singers/dancers. We are inviting any Curtain Call members to email us if they are interested in performing either a song, a dance or a combi of both. This show will be produced with What Was That? Productions, see their website


Future Productions:


WHOA at the Musicals: A selection of solo or duet songs from musicals.

Glengarry Glen Ross: Curtain Call will be working with a guest director in the production of this play in order to give our members who would prefer not so sing or dance a chance to do more acting.


Return to the Forbidden Planet: Based on Shakespeare's "The Tempest", this will be our first musical of the 2006-2007 academic year, more details next year.

Untitled Open Air Production: Something for the warmer weather, we will be bringing you an open air show, to be announced soon.

Little Shop of Horrors: The story of a man eating plant will be coming to Aber in 2007. This production is also planned to be entered into the National Student Drama Festival in Scarborough.
