| artistic policy | Telstars are self-financing group based in Cardiff, Wales with an annual membership fee. They meet most Friday nights with additional rehearsals and work times for specific performances. Telstars are essentially a Drama group, which performs occasional musical reviews and has a small regular membership of just 10-15, all ages from all walks of life. Telstars offer a rehearsal facility with wardrobe, properties, make up, technical and set construction. Members are encouraged to participate in acting, producing, directing, writing, stage-management and back-stage work. Experience is not essential and newcomers will find encouragement, support and advice from existing members with a wide range of skills and aptitudes. Telstars meet most Friday evenings throughout the year, in our rehearsal facility, i.e. the Scout Hut behind Christ Church, Lake Road North, Cardiff. |
