| artistic policy | Rhyl & District Amateur Operatic Society was formed in 1938. Our membership totals 80-100 and ages range from 15 to 60 plus. Prospective new members have to audition to become singing/dancing members of the Society. Membership fees are £20 per year (£10 for students and non-acting members). In addition, members of the cast of a particular show pay £2 per week (£1 students) towards the cost of the show in rehearsal. We perform two shows a year in the Pavilion theatre, Rhyl. We welcome new members and are always particularly short of male members. |
