synopsis: Vicar Joe, who was first introduced through Peter Read’s highly popular plays, ‘Toshack or Me!’ and ‘To Hull and Back’, is still up to his tricks. Will Mr Phelps and the Church Council allow pop music in the church; how will they respond to his desire to see more and more street homeless using the church premises to sleep? There is, of course still the little matter of him spending more time at Liberty Stadium watching the Swans than he does in his parish! |
