synopsis: Inside Out, written by Welsh-born Lesley Ross (‘Pick of the Edinburgh Fringe’) in collaboration with Chris Morgan, offers an insight into the world of Ivor Novello: Wales’ original stage and screen heart throb. At the height of his fame during The Second World War, Novello was imprisoned in wormwood Scrubs for using bootleg petrol to keep his Rolls Royce on the road, a scheme plotted in large part by a devoted – if misguided – fan. |
