policy polisi artistig |
Actorsworkshop provides creative, high quality and professional artistic experiences that are accessible, inclusive and fun! Our Company policy is to: • Provide a professional, high quality and creative workshop experience for all participants. • Provide acting training in performance that is innovative, comprehensive and open to all. • Provide easily accessible information to encourage participation in the performing arts • Provide unique professional support to our arts business partners. In addition to the workshops we provide our members with various performance opportunities throughout the year, so that they may develop further performance skills and have the opportunity to realise the potential of their abilities gained through these sessions. All of our support team have been professionally trained or currently work within the arts or theatre industry. We have therefore created collaborations and partnerships with professional designers, technicians, playwrights, and venues who help actorsworkshop's core team and their acting members establish the following goals and objectives: Ø To provide a creative forum for performers to work and experiment. Ø To provide unique and professional performance and production opportunities. Ø To build a creative and effective working team that enables Actorsworkshop to grow and extend geographically and physically. Ø To promote and raise the profile of our services, workshops, live performances and theatre as a whole. Our Mission To produce high quality and challenging artistic experiences, through our workshops and productions, for individuals and groups to deepen their involvement and understanding of the arts. |

Started in 2000 as a community group Actorsworkshop quickly grew into a company of participants. David and Jamie incorporated the Company in February 2001. Starting with one workshop Coleg Glan Hafren, Actorsworkshop has moved to Splott Community Hall and then Chapter. The Company now hosts six different stage acting courses at Chapter with a new Screen series starting in autumn 2012 and increasing its reach with plans for Swansea in the autumn of 2012 too. |
