Kzone offers a wide variety of activities to young people, providing an opportunity to encourage and develop their creativity. Key to this development is the promotion of multicultural performing and visual arts programmes, with a focus on building confidence and self esteem in addition to performance skills. |

Kzone Theatre Company was launched in January 2003. Our ethos is to provide audiences with exciting and experiential ‘live’ theatre, offering a repertoire of issue based productions, to entertain, educate, and as an introduction to the work of contemporary actors, directors, writers and dramatists. Productions focus on many of the important issues faced in the world today such as prejudice, stereotyping, communication, racism, control and order, friendship, the environment, sustainability and recycling. Theatre Workshops Kzone productions for schools are followed by an hour-long workshop for young people. The workshops encourage participants to become actively involved in activities and discussions relevant to issues raised during the play. The workshops help young people to understand the issues covered during the play by discussing why they are important in a fun and educational way. Bespoke Theatre Kzone Theatre also use drama as a tool for delivering team building, and creating bespoke performances working to a specific client brief. We also work in conjunction with our sister company Jelly Development Achievements Kzone Theatre tour throughout the year, to schools and community venues all over the UK and Europe. Evaluation is hugely important, and we pay attention to quality delivery and client needs through the assessment of every assignment and performance. |
