The Bleeding Flag Theatre Company was set up in May 2004, with the specific remit to develop and perform new theatre for, and of interest to, the population of Mid Wales, the British Isles and to the wider world. The mission of the company is to inspire, nurture, challenge, educate and empower artists and to raise the consciousness and compassion of its audiences. The company has a commitment to help develop original theatre artists from Aberystwyth and the surrounding area - particularly those whose work is experimental in form and or challenging in content. For our first production we intend to perform 'Nest of Angels' by JS Bond. As a company we shalll concentrate on artistic quality and innovation and provide a means whereby local people can showcase their theatre skills with a long term view to becomming a touring company. |
