The Stage-Works Theatre Company was formed in 2004 to produce high quality professional productions of the best of contemporary and classical writing. The company’s first production was Two by Jim Cartwright. Having won many awards for his work, including best new play award for Two, Jim Cartwright fits perfectly into the category of the best of contemporary writers. !! This production toured around theatres in the UK for nearly a year ending in February 2006. The company built on its its successful reputation by presenting an open air tour of Twelfth Night to great acclaim from critics and audiences, achieving 4 Stars and ‘Pick of the Week’ in the Western Mail throughout its short tour of Castles in Wales. The founder members of the company are Adrian Monahan and James Masters, who collectively have over 50 years experience as professional performers and directors. Our current production is another chance to see Two by Jim Cartwright.
