After a successful first season producing Mike Doyle in Robinson Crusoe and Owen Money in Dick Whittington - the company brief is to produce high quality, dynamic productions of family orientated Pantomimes during the winter between November and March. With a policy of promoting Welsh based and talented newcomers, supported by professional actors the company headed by Jamie Edwards employs freelance, experienced theatre professionals to ‘run the show’. Star, producer and stalwart of the production team is Owen Money MBE an entertainer, comedian, broadcaster and entrepreneur who has delighted audiences with a mixture of hilarious stories and his slant on Welsh life on radio, television and as an after dinner speaker for many years. Peter Pan is currently in production for 2011 winter season. Rainbow Valley Productions are staged at major venues: Theatre Brycheiniog Brecon; Blackwood Miners Institute; Lyric Theatre Carmarthen; Princess Royal Port Talbot and the Congress Theatre Cwmbran. Future strategy hopes to see the company moving into several valley venues. The latest news, production clips and schedules can be found at: www.owen-money.com and at www.rainbowvalleyproductions.com Rainbow Valley also specialises in the provision of technical back up and expertise to smaller companies, drama groups and the education sector staging pantomimes and children's shows. Small scale sets can be constructed to specification with scenery and essential props also supplied.
