| Qualified Voice and Acting Coach since 1997 undertaking voice, dialect, acting and audition training, as well as personal presentation coaching for a range of professions. Qualifications: BA degree in Acting and an MA degree in Voice. Experience: As a voice and dialect coach I worked with The Old Vic Theatre in Bristol, Salisbury Playhouse, The Young Vic in London, The Sheffield Crucible, Theatr Iolo, Dolman Theatre; Birmingham, Cardiff and Swansea Universities teaching both Drama and PGCE students; I have done work at The Royal Shakespeare Company and at The Royal National Theatre Studio as well as for The BBC and productions _Band of Brothers_ and _The Baker_. I regularly undertake work for the private sector, coaching clerical and legal professionals, teachers, DJ_s, tour guides, journalists and presenters. I have worked on the Acting Course at The Central School of Speech and Drama in London and currently hold a full time post at The Royal Welsh College of Speech and Drama. Private students of mine are training and working at most of the major Drama Schools, Theatres and production companies in the country including: Guildhall, CSSD, RADA, LAMDA RWCMD, RSC, RNT, Donmar, Royal Court, Royal Exchange, BBC, S4C and in the international film industry. As a director I have worked at The Central Studio, Basingstoke (Revue Sketches by Pinter, Chairs _ devised), The Hen and Chickens, Islington (Teechers by Godber), Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff (The Night Before Xmas by Neilson) and directed projects on American Theatre and Shakespeare at CSSD. As an actor favourite roles include Tybalt from Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare (National Tour), Ludovico Marsilli in Life of Galileo by Brecht (Moving Being), Ramble from The London Cuckolds (Embassy Theatre, London) and 1 from Face to the Wall and Bash by Neil Labute and Martin Crimp (Cardiff and Edinburgh Fringe), I am currently Artistic director of Cardiff based Theatre company _charged_ for whom I have both acted and directed. |
