| Ben Tunnicliffe is an electric bass player born in Wales with years of gigging experience taking him to London’s Albert Hall, Lorient’s International Folk Festival, Productions of Billy Elliot, Handel’s Messiah and West Side Story, minority language festivals in Sweden and Scotland as well as around the UK with a diverse string of lineups. At the age of 18 Ben was recruited as a peripatetic guitar and bass tutor by a North Wales agency where he has done nothing but improve his reading, knowledge and ability to communicate with other musicians. By now Ben has strong sight-reading skills, thorough grasp of advanced music theory, a fantastic ear, brilliant attitude and a variety of good equipment available to him as well as his own transport. Ben is extremely flexible and dedicated to accepting performances every night of the week where possible from Jazz to Folk, Rock to Pop, Big Band to World and Musicals to Show Choirs and would be more than happy to discuss your requirements for a bass player in any corners of the UK and further. |
