| I recently graduated with Honours in Theatre and Media Drama with Media Studies from the University of Glamorgan. I have numerous experience of working with children and young people in numerous settings, including educational and community based. This I have gained whilst working as an assistant drama tutor for a local youth theatre, a playscheme assistant, a play worker, a youth worker in two community first areas and currently as an education project worker for children who are looked after. In my present post I work with children who have a number of difficulties such as behavioural, a lack of social skills and poor self esteem. I use drama skills and games to devolop their skills and improve their behaviour. Also I am a freelance drama tutor in my own time and have run drama workshops in primary schools. I have experience of street theatre, TIE, Directing, set design and community theatre. |
