| An Artistic Director of Treacle Theatre Company who work across Europe, developing an interest towards the possibilities of site-specific performance. In the past two years we have produced 'Fairplay' as part of National Fairtrade Fortnight, directed ‘The Last Glasshouse’ in an abandoned greenhouse (Münster, Germany), directed the Jersey Arts Centre Summer School in a Martello Tower, collaborated with Bacchi Performance Group at the Aberaeron Seafood Festival and worked with the Merseyside Youth Orchestra for ‘Deeptuned’ in the Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre. We are currently working on the Sunny Beach Project with Terminal Wanderlust from Frankfurt (Vienna, Bulgaria, UK). Recent design work includes the stage and lighting for ‘Lovefuries’ with Lurking Truth Theatre Company (Aberystwyth) and ‘Breakfast at Tiffanys’ with Fundbureau (Münster, Germany). I occasionally work as tutor in lighting design and scenography at the University of Wales in Aberystwyth and to run Lighting Design workshops at the Half Moon Young Peoples Theatre (London). |
