Born in Neath in 1981, graduated from the Royal College of Music in July 2004. Studied piano with Yonty Solomon, composition with Edwin Roxburgh and conductiong with Neil Thompson (himself a pupil of Leonard Bernstein).

Have performed at the Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Chipping Campden Music Festival, Buckingham Palace and Sadler's Wells. Several televsion appearences on BBC, Channel 4 and S4C. Have worked with and played for a wide variety of professional performers including Christian Lindberg (trombone), Haken Hardenberger (trumpet), Max Bygraves and Isla St. Clair. Worked as transcriber and copyist for Geri Halliwell's 2005 album Passion.

Currently working as a pianist, accompanist, teacher and musical director in the South Wales area. Honorary accompanist to Neath Operatic Society, Musical Director of Cor Y Gyrlais (Swansea) and of The Drama
Academy (Aberdare).

Recent performances as a pianist in theatre include 'Sweeny Todd', 'Honk', 'Les Miserables', 'Oliver', 'Snoopy' and 'Children of Eden'. As a conductor, 'Les Miserable', 'Jack and the Beanstalk', 'Fame' and the British premiere of 'Yours, Anne'. Have also given numerous performances throughout the country with my choir.
