Rachel graduated with honours from the University of Wales , Cardiff in 2003. During her degree course, Rachel performed with the award-winning female vocal ensemble Voices SA, who were chosen by Welsh composer Geraint Lewis to premier his 2002 composition Carola 'u Mair. In her final year, Rachel performed in a coloratura masterclass with Cardiff Singer of the World's Ingrid Surgenor and as the soprano soloist with both Cardiff Bach Choir and Cardiff University Music Society chamber ensemble and chorus.

Rachel has also toured Prague as the soprano soloist in Tippet's "A Child of Our Time", reached the preliminary finals of BBC's Choirgirl of the Year 1996, and taken part in performance masterclasses with the London cast of Les Miserables and HTV Television Studios.

Rachel also appears in the chorus and in a quartet and trio on the original recording of "Hildegard Revisited" by Dr June Boyce Tilman, and has recently recorded a selection of sacred arias in conjunction with Archangel Recordings. Rachel is currently performing with the ensembles Con Spirito and Lyrica on their concert circuits, is due to perform for the international Christian speaker, Adrian Plass for some of his UK tour dates, and is the soprano soloist of choice for a major new work entitled "Namarie", which will be performed in Austria in Ausust 2006
