Angharad Morgan was born in South Wales, and began singing at an early age. She is a recent graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where she was awarded a full scholarship in 2000.

Her exstensive choral experience has taken her from the National Youth Choir of Wales, to a scholarship with the BBC National Chorus of Wales which has given her the opportunity to work under the direction of conductors such as Richard Hicox, Martyn Brabbins and Leonard Slatkin; she is a founder member of Serendipity Singers, who tour regularly and have recently returned from the Beaulieu Sur Mer Festival in the south of France, and have launched their debut CD 'Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam'.

Operatic credits include: 'Sandman' in Humperdink's Hansel and Gretel, 'Sister Blanche' in Poulenc's Dialogue of the Carmelites, 'Lucia' in Britten's The Rape of Lucretia, 'First Lady' in Mozart's 'Die Zauberflöte, 'Miss Wordsworth' in Britten's Albert Herring and 'The Innkeepers Wife' in The Cunning Little Vixen by Janácek for RWCMD, Belinda in Purcell's 'Dido and Aeneas' for the Gower Chorale, and Donna Elvira in Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' for the Opera School of Wales.

Angharad has performed throughout the country in a variety of venues from St David's Cathedral to the Royal Albert Hall and is renowned for her versatility as a performer. On the concert platform Angharad has had the opportunity to work with some of Wales' most renowned musical ensembles. Her concert and oratorio experience includes Brahms Requiem, Mozart Mass in C Minor, Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, Requiem, Mass in C, Exsultate Jubilate, Handel Messiah, Dixit Dominus, Haydn Maria Theresa Mass, Dvorak
Requiem, Faure Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria.

Winner of the Valetta Jacobi Award for Sopranos, Angharad was awarded the title of 'Vale Singer of the Year' in November 2003 and has recently won the 'Russell Sheppard Memorial Scholarship' and the 'Lee Freeman Memorial Scholarship'.

Angharad performs as one fifth of Quintaffonic who are currently touring venues in Wales. Along with this success she is one third of the highly sought after 'From Covent Garden to Broadway' which performs regularly throughout the UK.
