Actorsworkshop are thrilled to announce the opening of their second weekly workshop at the brand new arts centre, The Gate, on Keppoch Street, Roath, Cardiff in September 2004! Actorsworkshop have been designing, programming and delivering weekly practical workshops in acting, theatre, performance and personal development since 2001 and are now pleased to be expanding their services. Open to anyone over the age of 18, Actorsworkshop offer an extensive series of dynamic and exciting workshops that look at a whole range ofsubjects including text work, improvisation, dance, physical theatre,design, directing, radio, T.V/Film, musical theatre, applying to drama school and getting into the industry, to name but a few! All workshops are delivered by experienced professionals, all currently working within the arts industry, providing up to the minute information, advice and training for all those interested in developing knowledge of theatre, whether for advancement into a career in the arts or for personal development. Jamie Lee, Artistic Director of Actorsworkshop, says "the team are excited and proud to be basing their second weekly session at this great new centre! The excellent on site facilities open up a wealth of opportunities for our members and new participants. The directors and all involved with The Gate have been friendly and supportive and we look forward to starting workshops there". Actorsworkshop's Autumn Term begins on September 9th and heralds the start of their new year of workshops, running on Tuesday and Thursday nights between 7pm and 9pm until December.
