Sgript Cymru, the new writing company for Wales, has appointed the first of three community writers as part of its Arts Council of Wales Lottery-funded Community Writers Forum. Michael Stevens will be based at Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Mold for three months where he will run regular workshops with both experienced writers and young people new to the theatre This residency is part of a Wales wide initiative which will place community writers in Mold, Swansea , Holyhead and the surrounding areas. At the end of the three months, professional actors and directors will have one-to-one sessions on their plays. A day of taster wotrkshops will be held at Clwyd Theatr Cymru on September 8th |
