Earthfall autumn tour....

After the massive sell out success across the UK this spring with their production of RUNNING AWAY WITH THE HAIRDRESSER, earthfall tour the UK and mainland Europe this autumn.

Running Away with the Hairdresser is a physical portrayal of extreme characters in extreme places with a depth and black humour that draws from cinema, stand-up, opera and farce to create a heady mix of vital contemporary performance.

With echoes of Hitchcock, Tarantino and Bill Hicks we witness people in rooms with secrets and yearnings that have chance meetings resulting in passionate, comic and fierce encounters.

The show is a soap opera of extreme dance, image and music put together by an internationally acclaimed and BAFTA- award-winning company who cross artistic, geographical and linguistic boundaries.

earthfall have won a strong following for their unique performance style: their shows feature multi-disciplined performers and musicians who weave together word, image, dance and theatre, inspired by personal memories, as well as a wealth of source materials, spanning the writings of Shakespeare to film noir. Expect exotic temptations and earthy urbanism; glitzy glam and gritty reality.

AUDIO DESCRIPTION – the first dance/theatre company in Wales to offer this service
to Visually Impaired People

For certain performances on this tour, earthfall are offering AUDIO DESCRIBED performances for the visually impaired. This is a first for any dance/physical theatre company in Wales and continues the company’s commitment to equality of access. Each Audio Described performance will offer a ‘Touch & Talk’ session before the performance for pre-booked ticket holders that will enable VIP’s to ‘experience’ the production in context to the description. The Audio Described performances offered by the company in the spring were a huge success and on the autumn tour they are being offered at the Lowry, Salford, Pegasus Oxford and the Hawth in Crawley.

There are only TWO performances in Cardiff this Autumn, 4th and 5th October and, like the spring dates, they are likely to sell out. You can book direct on www.chapter.org. Tickets are on sale from 19th September.
