WALES ARTS MARKETING SYMPOSIUM

The Arts Council of Wales is delighted to announce details of this year's Symposium, taking place at the newly refurbished and expanded Theatr Mwldan. The day will feature two Keynote Speeches, the first by Louise Cogman on family friendly marketing, and the second by Tony Anderson who will be bringing a commercial perspective to the proceedings, fresh from his success with easyJet. There will be a broad range of Seminars on offer covering emarketing, marketing Welsh language work, direct mail, cultural tourism, touring company/receiving theatre relationships, branding and taking the first steps towards marketing planning. The extended lunch break will allow everyone to catch up with old friends and colleagues (and perhaps meet new ones) plus go on a Guided Tour of the new facilities at Theatr Mwldan and their Creative Media Centre. There will also be an opportunity to hear updates on various ACW Marketing Projects and a number of Trade Stands will be in attendance.

ACW is pleased to be working in partnership with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru during the event, tying in with their production of 'Romeo and Juliet' which will be taking place on November 9th and 10th in Theatr Mwldan. Symposium delegates are invited to a pre-show reception hosted by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru from 6.30pm prior to the performance on Tuesday November 9th.

The Symposium price per delegate is being subsidised by ACW and is held, once again, at only £30. This will include a buffet lunch and drinks throughout the day. For the first time registration is online, but numbers are restricted so delegates are advised to book early. Registration will close on October 22nd.
