Welsh Gold

WELSH GOLD festival of Welsh contemporary drama to kick start the festive season

SUNDAY 5TH Dec – THURSDAY 9TH Dec.

These plays are some of Wales’ best. They speak for themselves. There are always requests from audiences to bring some of them back – so we decided to have a festival.

Sgript Cymru will be offering a week of professional readings with some of the best theatre writing ever to emerge from post-war Wales – some in English and others in Welsh, at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.

5 Dec 8pm - Bull, Rock and Nut by Alan Osborne (& opening
night wine)

6 Dec 8pm - Y Ffin by Gwenlyn Parry

7 Dec 8pm - Sleeper’s Den by Peter Gill

8 Dec 8pm - Wal by Aled Jones-Williams

9 Dec 8pm - Tiny Dynamite by Abi Morgan

Tickets each night will only be £3 each and seating will be limited to the 5 exclusive events. Tickets available from Chapter on 02920 304400
