ROAD in Bangor     

In the course of one wild night, the drunken guide Scullery conducts a
tour of Road, his derelict Lancashire street... Brenda wants a pound on
one, Prof's after a recollection, Carol and Louise are looking for summat
different, Brian and Marion are at each other's throats, Dor and Lane keep
on snoggin' through, Eddie thinks he's a cowboy, DJ Bisto invites you to
his Beatoven Disco and Joey's just had enough. All human life is here.

This play was premiered at the Royal Court Theatre, London in 1986 and has
won the Samuel Beckett Award and the George Devine Award.
