The Gibraltar Point International Artist Residency Program on Toronto Island, Toronto, Canada is now accepting submissions for the June 2005 Term. The residency is open to both Canadian and international professional artists who are over 20 years of age and at any stage of their career (except those enrolled in any arts degree programme). Applications are accepted from artist/creators working in a variety of disciplines including community and environmental art, visual, new media, literary, film + video, theatre and sound. The programme aims to stimulate discourse and unite professional artists from varied regional, cultural and aesthetic backgrounds providing an opportunity to think, experiment and create in an environment that is highly conducive to creativity .
