Forkbeard Fantasy is offering two six-day residential courses in 2005. Artists and creators working in performance and film will gain experience with a professional theatre company in a creative environment. Both courses are held at Forkbeard’s Waterslade Studios in rural Devon - a studio complex equipped for set and prop construction, film, video and animation. The programme will include: - Performing and interacting with film projections. - Making films in live action, animation and combinations of the two. - Animation and pixilation techniques. - Designing and making sets, animated props and costumes. - Camera operation and post production digital editing (including compositing). - Basic sound and lighting design for film, video and theatre The course runs from 16th - 21st July and costs £500 which includes accommodation, meals and refreshments. There are 20 spaces available and a deposit of £100 is required upon acceptance. Details and application forms are available on the website.
