Hitting Funny: fringe diary now online

"Far funnier than much of what you'll see on the stand-up circuit in Edinburgh", according to The List, is HITTING FUNNY, Volcano Theatre Company's edgy, intense, "utterly demented" one-man show at the Assembly Rooms.

In fact, Hitting Funny is likely to make you laugh and squirm in equal measure (although this might also be true of much of the stand-up). Philip Ralph offers a determinedly extreme performance as Chris Rich, a stand-up comic with a standstill career who has lost sight of the conventional limits of taste and decency.

Not one to miss out on any additional chances to cause offence, "Chris Rich" has been keeping a web diary of his experiences at the Fringe. This is now online at www.hittingfunny.com, and is updated every weekday. Please check out the diary for a glimpse into Chris's jaundiced world.

Hitting Funny is at the Assembly Rooms at 5pm (except Mon 15th).
