A brand new schedule of autumn workshops have just been released from Cardiff’s longest running professionally taught theatre workshop company. Since 2001 actorsworkshop have continued to design, programme and deliver high quality, professionally taught practical theatre workshops for those interested in the arts. All this at an affordable and competitive rate! The new series will offer anyone aged 18 and over the chance to develop key skills across the Theatre, T.V, Film and Radio industry, regardless of previous experience. All workshops are taught by qualified professionals from within the industry. Past guest tutors have included Kevin McCurdy (BADC Stage Combat), Drew Baker (Principal AMT Wales), Marilyn LeConte (WCMD), Emma Stevens (Central School of Speech and Drama), Tim Hodges (Doctor Who), Arwel Gruffyd (DM Davies Award Winner) and Carri Munn (Munn and Diamond) to name but a few. Weekly workshops run from 19.00 ‘til 21.00 and are held at The Gate Arts Centre (Keppoch Street, Roath) on Tuesdays from September 13th and at Chapter Arts Centre (Market Road, Canton) on Thursdays from September 15th. Actorsworkshop also offers an extensive range of other services including 1-2-1 tuition, confidence and motivation workshops, drama school application assistance, audition technique, corporate tuition, site specific events, children’s tutoring and much more.
