The Academy has been established for a year and has just seen the successful graduation of it’s first-year of students. Drew Baker (Principal) says ‘I am delighted that my first intake of students have all graduated securing top West-End agents and even top West-End contracts.’  The second-year of performers will arrive in Newport this month to begin their intensive professional singing, acting and dance training, and to welcome them, on Friday 21st October at 7.30pm the Academy will be holding a premier performance of ‘A Night at the Opera’ to which we hope you can come along too

For one night only, talented tenor Tim Whiting of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama will delight you with his fine voice, singing favourite songs and arias form the world of opera – ranging from Bach through to Gershwin. In this unique performance, Tim will be joined by Drew Baker (tenor) and Louise Maddy (soprano), whose memorable voices will further charm you into enjoying the sparkling sounds of ‘A Night at the Opera.’
