It’s all aboard for another riotous adventure with Toad and his friends at The Riverfront on Saturday 25th February at 2.30pm for Toad’s Great Western Railway Adventure! As mischievous and irrepressible as ever, our old friend Toad raises the stakes when he decides to give up on stealing cars to take up a new challenge – stealing a steam train! Children of all ages will love Toad’s latest hair-brained scheme, and will laugh along with Ratty, Moley and Badger as they try to rescue Toad once more from his greatest enemy – himself! Toad’s Great Western Railway Adventure, brought to The Riverfront by acclaimed young people’s theatre company Sixth Sense, combines the antics of the loveable Toad with a new musical score and ingenious setting. Tickets are just £4 and The Riverfront offers easy parking and a lovely café bar to complete the experience. Sixth Sense Theatre Company specializes in working with young people. The company brings this new adaptation of the children’s classic The Wind In The Willows to The Riverfront to coincide with the bi-centenary of the birth of Isambard Kingdom Brunel on 9th April 2006.
