The Riverfront is proud to present ELEMENTS, a performance that combines two of the oldest and most rigorous forms of dance on Saturday March 18 at 7.45pm. ELEMENTS is a new performance by Newport based choreographer Madhvi that embraces both ballet and bharantanatyam and brings them face to face with each other. The juxtaposition of ballet and bharantanatyam vocabulary is explored to its fullest, giving rise to a bilingual form, unique in its kind In Wales, creating a mesmerising and daring dance. Madhvi works with four ballet dancers from Independent Ballet Wales and live musicians to produce a colourful canvas. Tickets for ELEMENTS are a bargain £8 with reductions at £6.
