The Wales Gene Park in collaboration with Gwent Theatre Company and GIG has received a Society Award from the Wellcome Trust to produce a major new project for young people exploring contemporary developments in human genetics related to mental health.Boy Genius is an innovative and challenging theatre project which takes the form of an interactive participatory drama designed for young people of 16 years and upwards from schools and colleges across Wales. The Wales Gene Park is based within Cardiff University and brings together researchers and clinicians to extend knowledge and advance developments related to human genetics. The Genetic Interest Group (GIG) is a registered charity working for the benefit of all people affected with genetic conditions.
