NoFit’s Spaceship Lands in Cardiff Bay

NoFit’s Spaceship Lands in Cardiff Bay NoFit State Circus’s spaceship tent will take over the oval basin in Cardiff Bay for three weeks in September (7-22) when they bring their latest production, ImMortal, following sell-out performances at Edinburgh Festival in 2005 and 2006.

This will be the first time that Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) has programmed a production outside the Centre, something which is a part of its long-term ambition to programme and present high quality entertainment inside as well as outside WMC.

Wales Millennium Centre’s Programming and Communications Director, Fiona Allan, explains, “One of our objectives is to explore different areas, outside WMC, where we can programme shows that will appeal and draw a new audience. It is important that we listen to our customers and provide them with a range of art forms.

“With it being the height of summer, this circus extravaganza will I’m sure attract a great deal of people of all ages. This will form part of our audience development and introduce people to the Centre and to theatre in different ways.”

ImMortal takes place above, around and amongst the audience in an explosion of choreographed chaos. Breath-taking ensemble performances are woven with traditional circus skills creating an exhilarating promenade performance against a backdrop of video projections, water, flames and a live soundtrack.

Tickets for ImMortal range from £14-£16 and to book your tickets, contact the WMC ticket and information office on 08700 40 2000 or visit: www.wmc.org.uk Standing and Promenade only. Children welcome.
