AN INDEPENDENT review of the Arts Council of Wales will examine the role of management and its decision-making processes, the National Assembly has confirmed. The review was ordered by Assembly culture secretary Tom Middle-hurst, following a U-turn by ACW when it decided to suspend its strategy for Young People’s Theatre for 12 months. That decision could be the subject of legal action from five Welsh theatres whose plans were thrown into chaos following the suspension of the strategy.
