The award-winning Kaos Theatre made a saucy and controversial return to The Riverfront last night with a brand new production based on Shakespeare’s classic text, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.Raunchy, physically fuelled and musical, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a sexy Shakespearean spectacle which dazzles and amazes. Adapted and Directed by Xavier Leret, the production stars Matt Fraser as Puck, well known for appearing in Thalidomide the Musical. Set in a seedy underworld with a drug pushing Puck and a pole-dancing Hermia, this production is not to be missed. As one of the UK’s most exciting band of theatre visionaries, Kaos continues to build on the success of Moll Flanders in 2005; this internationally acclaimed ensemble is destined for repeat success with this breath-taking and highly original performance. Don’t be an ass and miss out! Tickets are available for tonight (Friday 5 October) and tomorrow (Saturday 6 October) so book now! Prices range from £7.50 to £12 and are available from the Box Office on 01633 656757 or by visiting: www.newport.gov.uk/riverfront. This show contains nudity, is not for the easily offended and is recommended for ages 15+ |
