In November 2007 the Assembly Government's Minister for Heritage announced proposals for ACW to receive £1.5 million in the financial year 2008-09 to implement the Beacon Company proposals outlined in the Wales Arts Review published in November 2006. £1m has been allocated by ACW to funding Beacon Company awards for organisations.The Beacon Company awards aim to recognise and reward excellence, enabling those companies and organisations which consistently create work of high quality and achieve levels of excellence to develop. Procedures, guidance and forms are now available for eligible organisations to apply for a Beacon Company award. |
