Shishya performs in Cardiff’s brand new ATRiuM!     

Shishya performs in Cardiff’s brand new ATRiuM! Shishya, the largest performing group of Bharata Natyam in Wales, will perform a very special show on Saturday 5th July at 5.00pm. Following previous sell out successes and acclaimed performances, the students of India Dance Wales who form the performing group Shishya, will perform at the brand new ATRiuM, home of the Cardiff School of Creative & Cultural Industries, and guarantee an evening of skilled traditional dance, beautiful spectacle and intricate story telling.

This special performance combines the talents of many students from various backgrounds who come together to present their achievements and developments in Bharata Natyam, a popular form of South Asian dance.

India Dance Wales has been training dancers for over 20 years and has produced many professional standard dancers and teachers. This innovative and unique company offers services including performances, outreach, educational work and training. Dance classes are open to all – whether it be for fun or to work towards qualifications.
