Audiences Wales short-listed for prestigious award     

Audiences Wales short-listed for prestigious award Audiences Wales has been short-listed for the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s prestigious Wales Marketing Awards, Canmol.

From over fifty five entries, Audiences Wales’ The Knowledge project has reached the shortlist of fifteen nominations. The Knowledge is Audiences Wales’ groundbreaking box office data tracking study for theatres and arts centres in Wales.

Understanding audiences is fundamental to effective marketing, and Audiences Wales is at the forefront of increasing knowledge about where audiences choose to go, how often, to what art form, and how they find out about events. By analysing box office data, Audiences Wales helps theatres and arts centres throughout Wales reach new audiences, encourage more frequent attendance and build better customer relationships.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing has launched the new Welsh Marketing Awards to celebrate and promote excellence in the marketing industry in Wales. Five winners will be chosen from entries based on excellence in their particular context.
The winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on 9 October 2008.
