![]() After an absence of more than 10 years, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s breathtaking production illustrating the life of Eva Peron has returned to the New Theatre receiving rave reviews. First performed in 1978 the show has won over 20 major awards worldwide and been made into a film starring Madonna and Jonathan Pryce. Eva Peron is played by rising star Louise Dearman who gives a compelling performance which has seen critics already compare her to Elaine Paige. The show also stars BBC’s Any Dream Will Do finalist Seamus Cullen, handpicked by Kenwright to play the rebellious Che. This heartbreaking production is jam-packed with renowned and stirring songs such as Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and the Oscar-winning You Must Love Me.
