![]() ‘Someone Else’s Shoes’ takes place in a contemporary South Wales Valleys town where a teenage girl utilises the story of ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ to talk about her life. Through the medium of active theatre and follow up workshops, the project encourages participants to use their imaginations to consider our own and other people’s experience. Directed by Steve Davis, and with a cast of Rhodri Evan (winner of the Best Actor 2008 BAFTA Cymru Award), Carys Parry, Enid Gruffudd, Steve Hickman and Catrin Evans, the production will be touring to Secondary Schools and Venues throughout Wales from 9th February until 3rd April 2009. A public performance will also be held at Llanover Hall, Cardiff on Friday 27th March at 7pm. Tickets are available from Spectacle. “You never really know a man until you stand in his shoes and walk around in them.” Atticus Finch, ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ by Harper Lee.
