Black RAT’s ‘Dream’ opens at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven.

Black RAT’s ‘Dream’ opens at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven. Black RAT Production’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream has started its tour of this, the most famous and best loved of Shakespeare’s classic comedy.

Full of colour, fun and physical playing this production is a must see this summer.

With a cast led by Lisa Zahra as Titania and Sam Davies as Bottom , the humour comes thick and fast as the human world is entwined within the frenetic world of the nocturnal fairies.

Madness and mayhem cascade as the four lovers (Lewis Cook, Christina Richards, Amy Coombes & Chris Jenkins) run rings around each other; Peter Quince (Chris Morgan) desperately tries to surpress his Bottom and get his play rehearsed, Titania & Oberon let rip with the best known ‘domestic’ in British Drama; and Puck (played by the elastic Russell Clough) enjoys the hysteria of mistakenidentity, unrequited love and a beastial head transpant!

Directed by Richard Tunley, this production follows sell-out tours of A Zoo Story, Miss Julie and Oedipus and paves the way for more ventures. The autumn sees the company tour BOUNCERS with Mike Doyle (Lucky Eric), Gareth Bale, Lewis Cook and Richard Tunley.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be playing:
The Congress Theatre, Cwmbran – 17th June
The Gate, Cardiff – 24th-26th June
The Depot Studio at Swansea Grand Theatre – 29th June – 1st July
