Peter Pan has been spreading his magic in Newport now for almost two weeks and will continue to do so from now until Sunday 3 January 2010. Prices range from £5 - £16 and with reductions and family tickets available, not only is this a fun, traditional panto, but it is one that won’t break the purse strings! Hurry though, ticket sales are through the roof, meaning Peter Pan is on track to be the most successful Riverfront panto to date! Peter Pan stars dastardly Welsh villain Brian Hibbard as Captain Hook, Phylip Harries as Dame Delia/Smee, Gillian Elisa as Mrs Darling/Myrtle the Mermaid, Anna Campkin as Wendy, Francois Pandolfo as Starkey, Ashley Rolfe as Michael, Sarah Cortez as Tiger Lily, and with Kate Rawson as Peter Pan. The cast will of course be joined by lots of talented local young performers and Sam Rabbitt from Newport as one of the Lost Boys. Peter Pan, the Darling Children, their wonderful dog Nana and the magical Tinker Bell fly through colourful and exotic worlds, engaging in swashbuckling adventures. Meet the lost boys, Tiger Lily, a scary crocodile and the fearsome baddy of all baddies; Captain Hook. The magical story of Peter Pan has been entertaining adults and children for over 100 years and now, The Riverfront has brought it to life in Newport.
