Amateur productions at the Swansea Grand Theatre Swansea Amateurs present

Oh Lord, What a Knight!

Swansea Grand Theatre
Friday 2nd July: 7.15pm

In the wake of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber deciding on his 'Dorothy' for the BBC show 'Over The Rainbow'. Swansea Amateur Operatic Society or now as they are commonly known 'Swansea Amateurs' pay homage to the Lord himself, in an evening packed full of his music. The show is on for one 'Knight' only at Swansea Grand Theatre on Friday 2nd July at 7.15pm.

The evening will feature songs that span over the whole of Lloyd- Webbers career including Cats, Joseph and His Technicolor Dreamcoat, Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita to name but a few. All of which have memorable show stopping numbers as well as melodic moving songs.

Swansea Amateurs have been performing at Swansea Grand Theatre since 1901. They are currently preparing for their week long show, musical comedy 'Music Man' here in April 2011, which is a first for the company. The group are looking forward to sharing with you the musical talent of Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber in what will be a memorable evening.
