<b>TEXT DESTINATION in PERFORMANCE:</b> Firenza Guidi, writer, director and performance creator, has pioneered a new way of developing writing for performance. The course will explore and take into performance different forms and styles of writing: from monologue, to prose or poetic narrative, from poetry to rap. Firenza will work alongside two professional performers/musicians in an intensive yet exhilarating exploration. This two-part workshop will reflect the changing language of theatre and stimulate participants to experiment with different styles and "destinations" for the written word in performance. Open to all writers, whatever their experience or chosen medium, we begin with a day practical work in Cardiff.
