Saturdays from 15 Jan - 2 April (except 19 & 26 February)| 10 - 11.30am | Ages 7-11 yrs Meet at the Silver Dragon | Payment for 1 term (10 weeks) is £75 The Centre is embarking on a new project that will see us working with young and emerging performers through our new Young Company. Lead by Shelley Barrett-Norton & Leigh-Ann Regan in partnership with the Centre, every Saturday morning we will deliver classes in drama, dance and song to develop the skills and confidence of budding young performers. The Young Company’s philosophy is to deliver professional West End standard acting, vocal and dance training, ensuring each child can develop and benefit from life skills including teamwork, communication and socializing skills, while building confidence, making friends and enjoying themselves. All the classes will be fun and inclusive. Children will be encouraged to direct, choreograph and immerse themselves in the creative process, with the Centre acting as a creative hub that can offer opportunities for its Young Company members to engage with the many national and international companies that we are connected with, including our resident arts organisations. Through the performing arts, we hope to create a situation where our classes bring together groups of young people from all backgrounds, to have fun while developing their skills in performance and creativity.
